The festival will feature two distinct acts, each with their own unique approach to music. The first act, “The Gloaming,” is a contemporary Irish folk band known for their haunting melodies and evocative lyrics. They have garnered international acclaim for their unique blend of traditional Irish music with modern electronic sounds.
Notably, both groups have represented Ireland at WOMEX (Worldwide Music Expo) , bringing their unique and distinct visions of cultural cross-pollination to life at the celebrated UK world music festival. This year’s gig is the third time that Bray Jazz has taken to the hills to celebrate Culture Night, and the third time they have brought a programme of live jazz to St Saviour’s in Rathdrum. The show is free to attend and will take place from 8pm on the night.
